One show down, 5 more to go! That includes a show tonight (Saturday!) So come on out!
To further celebrate opening weekend, here's another little interview we shot earlier during tech week. Meet another essential member of the crew! *Transcript below* "Hi, my name is Emily Chambers. I’m assistant stage managing and running lights for Woman in Black coming up on the 18th. I’m really excited for this show. I’ve never done a ghost show before. I think it’s gonna be really really cool. Awesome fact about Aura Coffee, where we’re holding it is it’s haunted, so it’s gonna be extra spooky. So y’all should all come out and have a good time!"
In honor of OPENING NIGHT excitement, meet another member of the #womaninblack crew! *Transcript below* "I’m Kelsey Smith, I’m one of the prop designers for The Woman in Black. If you like lots of paper, you would definitely love the show. Also if you just love spooky things in general like me, you can come see an actual ghost play, something I ever thought existed until now. We open on October 18th. That is this week. We run for 2 weekends. So, come out and see us!"
IT'S OPENING NIGHT!!! 👻
In the midst of all the excitement and hard work of making a delightful and cozy lil coffee shop into a blackbox theatre, we forgot to share a few more interviews with you all!
Stay tuned to meet even more of the crew that made this show a reality!
And then head to our Facebook page for all the details, and come have a spooky, good time with us! ***Transcript below*** "Hi, my name is Lindsey Hall. I’m doing producing work for the show, as well as some makeup. So I get to make our very youthful and dashing Robert Linder look, still dashing, but older. Um…and the show opens this weekend actually, on the 18th. And it runs for 2 weekends. So that’s the weekend of the 18th and the 25th. It runs Friday, Saturday, Sunday, both weekends at 8pm at Aura Coffee in Denton. I’m super excited because spooky season is my favorite Sean and I get to bring a little extra spookiness to y’all with the rest of the Sundown crew. So, come out and see it!"
